Learning

Learning is at the heart of everything we do at Saltdean Primary School. The children are taught the whole of the National Curriculum (or the Early Years curriculum when they are in Reception), and we support and extend this with our own wider curriculum, the Saltdean Journey. We also want them to learn to become amazing adults, who will have the academic, social and emotional skills to navigate the world they live in.

Key to all of this learning are own Learning Powers, six skills sets which define the attributes needed in any subject or aspect of learning. The form the framework on which the content of our curriculum is built.
