YEAR 5 Greek Day
Ancient Greeks Day
To close our Ancient Greece topic, Year 5 will be holding a Greek Day on Friday 17th April.
The day will involve tasting Greek food (we will provide the food, including those with allergies) and taking part in the Olympic Games, as well as a number of other fun arts and crafts activities.
We would like the children to dress up as a Greek so they can fully enjoy the day. Homemade costumes are encouraged (an old sheet wrapped with some string works a treat), as we do not expect parents to buy a costume. They could be an everyday Greek, a warrior, or perhaps even one of the gods.
We look forward to seeing them, whatever they are wearing!
