Report a Safeguarding concern

YEAR 2 Trip

The children will need to bring:

  • A packed lunch (they will need to carry this with them all day so a backpack might be ideal. No nuts)
  • A water bottle
  • A small snack for the afternoon

As KS1 children are entitled to universal free school meals, Caterlink can provide a packed lunch if needed. This will need to be requested via the ping Form by 9am on Wednesday 20th March. We would not be able to accept any requests after this time. The packed lunch offer will consist of the following:

  • - Cheese Baguette or Sandwich
  • - Carrot and Cucumber Sticks
  • - A piece of fruit
  • - A piece of cake or a cookie
  • - Bottle of water

Children will need to wear school uniform (trainers may be worn). Please check the weather on the day and ensure children are dressed appropriately e.g. coats. Children are not permitted to bring money on the trip.

It is necessary to ask for a suggested voluntary contribution of £13.00 per pupil. This covers the cost of the role play workshop and the coach travel. We will be taking all payments via ‘ParentPay’, our online system. If you are not yet set up with a ParentPay account, please contact Mrs Dench via the school office who will be able to provide you with an activation login. No cash payments will be accepted. Please complete the permission form via Ping, and pay your voluntary contributions via ParentPay by 9am on Friday 15th March.

We are very grateful for the support that we receive from parents and carers. In order for the trip to go ahead, we will need to ensure we have enough contributions before confirming with the booking company. If the trip is cancelled, your contribution will be refunded.
