RECEPTION Local Trip
We will be leaving school at approximately 11:45am. We shall return to school at approximately 2:45 pm and the normal pick-up time of 3.10pm will be in place.
We will be having a school picnic before leaving for the beach as a special treat, so please send your child in with a packed lunch on this day. Please remember that we are a nut free school. As Reception children are entitled to universal free school meals, Caterlink can provide a packed lunch if needed. This will need to be requested via the ping Form by 9am on Friday 6th March. We would not be able to accept any requests after this time.
The children will need a small backpack that they can carry containing the following:
- Named water bottle
- Sun hat
- Waterproof coat (if appropriate)
Children can come to school in comfortable black trousers/joggers/leggings/shorts but will need to wear their white polo shirt and school jumper.
Depending on the weather, children may need to come to school with sun-cream applied. If your child will need to re-apply, please bring any sun-cream lotion with their name labelled on the bottle. Sun-cream will need to be applied by the child themselves with our supervision. We will assess the weather throughout the day and change any plans accordingly.
